Biography
Markus Müller is a commercial/technology and data protection lawyer based in Munich. He has extensive knowledge in the fields of information technology and general contract law.
He focuses on national and cross-border business process and IT outsourcing projects and is equally experienced in the project management of large-scale outsourcing projects (including tendering, negotiating and contracting).
Markus is experienced in the drafting and negotiating of software licenses, development, IT services and cooperation agreements, and is particularly familiar with German and EU data protection and privacy law. In addition, he has broad experience of copyright, telecommunication and software law.
He assists mid-sized and global enterprises from the industrial, retail and service sectors in general civil law matters, providing comprehensive advice in all operational issues, in particular advising on sales, purchasing, logistics, R&D and IT.
Markus also has substantial experience with international technology companies such as Nokia Siemens Networks and Siemens AG.
Markus studied law at the Universities of Passau, Lausanne and Munich. Before joining us, Markus worked in a boutique law firm focused on information technology and intellectual property law. He is a native German speaker and is fluent in English and French.
