Biography
Tiffany Zilliox is an intellectual property lawyer based in Munich. She advises on litigation and dispute resolution on the full range of intellectual property rights, with a particular focus on patent law.
She advises companies on the protection of their intellectual property and represents clients in enforcement cases relating to patents, utility models, designs, trademarks and competition rights before all competent courts in Germany. In particular, she represents clients in patent litigation in all technical fields, including patent infringement proceedings, invalidation proceedings before the Federal Patent Court and the Federal Supreme Court, as well as oppositions proceedings before the German Patent and Trademark Office and the European Patent Office.
Tiffany also regularly advises on non-contentious licensing matters, IP-related contractual matters and employee inventions law. Furthermore, she has experience with enforcement of IP rights through preliminary injunctions, procedures of seizure of counterfeit goods by customs authorities and on trade fairs in Germany. Among her clients are international companies and medium-sized enterprises in the sectors of mechanical engineering, electronics and telecommunication, packaging technology, medical and surgical devices and sports equipment.
Tiffany studied law at the University of Munich, the University of Paris and Bournemouth University. She holds a Master of Laws in Intellectual Property Law (LL.M.) and the French degrees of Licence en Droit and Maîtrise en Droit. In 2012 she was admitted as a qualified lawyer (Rechtsanwältin) in Germany. Before joining us, she worked in Munich at one of the largest intellectual property law firms in Europe.
Tiffany is a member of the German Association for the Protection of Industrial Property and Copyrights (GRUR e.V.). A native German and French speaker, she also speaks English fluently.
