Biography
Dr. Maren Stölting is a real estate lawyer based in Munich. She is Head of Real Estate, Germany and Co-Head of Real Estate, EMEA.
Maren advises domestic and foreign investors, real estate funds and insurers and regularly provides legal counselling to German and international corporates in the course of real estate transactions by way of asset deals and share deals. She has extensive experience of projects and transactions in the real estate sector, providing advice on the subject of 'property' and issues regarding property and asset management, project development as well as commercial letting/lease law.
In this context, she advised Wealthcap on the purchase of the Rheinkontor office building in Mainz, Real I.S. on the purchase of the logistics property "Karlsruhe South" in Durmersheim in Baden-Württemberg; Fattal Hotel Group on a sale and leaseback transaction of its Leonardo Royal Berlin Alexanderplatz hotel; American Realty Capital Global Trust on the purchase and lease of the RWE headquarters; and a Swiss Pension Fund on the acquisition, closing, asset management and letting of a real estate portfolio consisting of 27 separate properties.
Prior to her legal studies, she completed a trainee programme at the Bayerische Vereinsbank AG in Munich. She is a graduate of the University of Munich (doctor juris). Maren is also qualified as a specialist lawyer for commercial and corporate law.
