Norton Rose Fulbright strengthens banking and finance practice with Frankfurt hire

Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright is strengthening its market-leading banking and finance practice in Frankfurt with the appointment of Dr Frank Herring as Senior Consultant, effective August 1, 2023.
Frank, who joins the firm from Allen & Overy, specialises in advising German and foreign banks, financial services providers and insurers across all areas of regulatory and supervisory law. He has a particular focus on advising investment and asset managers regulatory issues relating to capital markets, lending, insurance supervision and securities trading law.
He also advises banks and financial services providers on M&A transactions and restructurings as well as banks and investment companies on the establishment, management and restructuring of open and closed-end investment funds as well as compliance and distribution issues.
Dr Frank Herring is a lecturer for supervisory law at the Institute for Law and Finance of the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt.
