Bridget Scougall
Biography
Bridget Scougall is a pro bono lawyer based in Sydney.
Bridget works in the national pro bono practice with a focus on environmental sustainability, strategic litigation and international human rights, in particular work that supports refugees, victims of modern slavery and child exploitation. She has years of experience working in pro bono within law firms based in Sydney.
Bridget has experience in the not-for-profit (NFP) and charities sector through her previous role as an in-house legal counsel at a large NFP that supports newcomers including refugees, people seeking asylum and culturally and linguistically diverse communities.
Bridget also has litigation experience representing major national and international insurers in liability disputes across jurisdictions within Australia.
