Biography
Silas Lee is a corporate and commercial lawyer in our Toronto office. He is developing a broad practice with a focus on M&A, private equity, corporate governance and shareholder activism.
Silas joined us as a summer student in 2021 and returned to article in 2022-2023 after receiving both his J.D. and MBA degrees from Osgoode Hall Law School and the Schulich School of Business at York University. During his articling term, Silas completed a secondment at RBC, where he worked on a variety of business law matters.
While in school, Silas was a project coordinator with Pro Bono Students Canada, staff writer for the Obiter Dicta (the oldest law school newspaper in North America) and team member on Schulich's case competition team, among other extracurricular activities.
Silas was awarded the Gold Medal in Business Administration from Brandon University in 2018.
