Biography
Catherine Dubé is a is a partner in the Montréal office tax litigation team. She assists clients at all stages of the tax dispute process with Revenu Québec and the Canada Revenue Agency. Her practice covers a wide range of situations, including tax audits, objections and appeals. Recognized for her industry expertise, she frequently appears before the courts, including the Administrative Tribunal of Québec, the Court of Québec, the Québec Superior Court, the Québec Court of Appeal, the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, the Tax Court of Canada, the Federal Court and the Federal Court of Appeal.
Catherine’s extensive knowledge spans income tax, GST/QST and municipal taxation. She advises clients on complex tax law issues, negotiates various agreements with tax authorities and develops customized strategies to meet specific client needs. Her practice also encompasses rectification and cancellation applications, taxpayer relief applications, the protection of tax information and judicial reviews of administrative decisions.
Prior to joining us, Catherine acquired over five years of experience in tax and litigation with an international law firm, where she worked for more than five years.
