Joelle Briand-Diguer’s practice focuses on civil and commercial litigation, more specifically in complex litigation matters involving public and private corporations, injunctions and exceptional remedies, government procurement, as well as civil and penal liability.

Ms. Briand-Diguer also intervenes in fraud and integrity investigative matters, as well as in procedures and investigations conducted by regulators and public bodies, such as the Autorité des marchés publics. She advises corporations, large businesses and institutional clients before Quebec and federal courts.

Ms. Briand-Diguer also has experience in construction litigation matters and represents owners, contractors, suppliers, insurers and guarantors. She provides legal advice on various regulatory aspects governing the activities of construction contractors and intervenes in the context of penal sanctions.

As part of her law program at Université Laval, Ms. Briand-Diguer also studied at the faculty of law of Université du Luxembourg.

Before joining the Québec office, Ms. Briand-Diguer practiced in business law in Quebec City law firm.
