Biography
Rhiannon D'Agostin uses her scientific and legal experience to develop practical strategies to protect and leverage her clients’ intellectual property. Her practice is focused on intellectual property counseling, including patent portfolio strategy and management, and encompasses both offensive and defensive considerations. She assists clients in a wide range of technologies such as biologics, diagnostics, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, cellular agriculture and manufacturing processes and systems.
Before attending law school, she worked as a scientist for a large biologics company where she developed an invaluable understanding of the biotech industry. She now assists clients with intellectual property portfolio management, patent prosecution, proceedings before the USPTO, validity and infringement opinions, freedom to operate analysis, intellectual property due diligence, licensing and research agreements, Hatch-Waxman related issues and patent litigation.
