The Jewish Herald Voice covers the recognition of Shauna Johnson Clark (Houston) as the recipient of the 2022 Karen H. Susman Jurisprudence Award by the Anti-Defamation League's (ADL) Southwest Region. The award, which is presented annually, recognizes an outstanding member of the legal community who exhibits an exceptional commitment to equality, justice, fairness and community service.
Clark was instrumental in Norton Rose Fulbright selecting ADL as one of the three charities benefiting from its 2021 Global Charitable Initiative, which focused on fighting racism and championing social justice in business and communities.
In her own practice, Clark also prioritizes pro bono legal services for charitable organizations, specifically focusing on women's healthcare.
