Our Canadian National Chair of Litigation and Disputes and Head of Financial Institutions, Jennifer Teskey, spoke to Law360 about our ongoing pro bono efforts and partnership with BMO and Pro Bono Ontario to support their Free Legal Advice Hotline. Many Canadians struggle to obtain free legal services as the demand for access to justice surges. Our firm is committed to leveraging our legal knowledge and skillset to help bridge that gap by working with various pro bono organizations across the country. “While community involvement and volunteerism is extremely important in all manner of things, when you have a skill set that you're able to leverage to help people and help the public, I think it’s really important that we all really focus on the job that needs to be done and that is giving people a level playing field and getting that access to justice,” said Jennifer Teskey.
