Recent amendments to the Regulation on Commercial Advertisements and Unfair Commercial Practices now provide for the concept of “misleading packaging” as defined by any labeling practice that misleads a consumer into not understanding the per unit price impact of changes made to quantity, length, weight, area, volume or other similar elements of a packaged good.
