Cross-border team from Norton Rose Fulbright advises Anghami in SPAC deal

Led by Ayşe Yüksel Mahfoud (New York and Istanbul) and Brian Fenske (Houston), a cross-border team from the Istanbul and Houston offices of Norton Rose Fulbright advised Anghami – the leading music streaming company in the MENA region – on its merger with Vistas Media Acquisition Company Inc. to become the first Arab technology company to be listed on Nasdaq upon closing. This is a milestone deal in Nasdaq listings.

Anghami’s merger with Vistas, a US-based special-purpose acquisition company (“SPAC”), adds to Norton Rose Fulbright’s growing list of clients who seek to merge with SPACs to become publicly traded.
