Our Brazil practice
We are one of the largest international law firms in Brazil, with a substantial team of experienced lawyers, most of whom are bilingual and have worked in Brazil for many years. From our office in São Paulo, we advise Brazilian and international clients on English and US law issues throughout Latin America.
For Brazilian law issues, we work with the leading Brazilian law firms, with whom we have established relationships and a number of common clients.
Our Brazil team has extensive experience in the areas of banking and finance; projects; bankruptcy, financial restructuring and insolvency; energy, including oil and gas and renewables; corporate and M&A; infrastructure, mining and commodities. Working closely with our specialist teams in North America and Europe, we also advise clients on international dispute resolution and regulatory matters including compliance and investigations.
Our on-the-ground global capability, combined with our regional knowledge and experience, enables us to advise both international clients on in-bound work to Brazil and the wider Latin American region and Brazilian and other Latin American corporates and financial institutions on their activities outside Brazil.
