Susan Rose is a capital markets lawyer based in London.
Sue has extensive experience in advising corporate trustees and agents on a broad range of financing transactions, including bonds (Eurobonds, high yield, EMTN programmes, repackagings, convertibles/exchangeables); securitisations (asset backed, whole business, CDOs); structured financings; secured lending and project finance.
Sue also advises corporate trustees and agents on liability managements, restructurings, defaults and distressed transactions.

- Advising the security and restructuring agent on the landmark US$1.5 billion restructuring of the Vroon group, a leading provider of global shipping services. The restructuring involved the innovative use of a parallel Dutch WHOA procedure and an English Scheme of Arrangement.
- Advised the note trustee, security trustee and cash manager on the issuance of £400m Notes secured against a portfolio of ASDA supermarket commercial ground leases.
- Advised the security agent, facility agent and cash manager on several deals originated by a leading private equity house, involving a loan secured on a portfolio of debt and equity investments
- Acted for the offshore security agent and account bank on several water and electricity plant project financings for ACWA Power in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
- Advised on the consent solicitation for Cell C, a South Africa-based telecommunications operator, in the restructuring and exchange of its US$184m secured notes.
- Acted for HSBC as security agent and indenture trustee on a US$1.15bn catastrophe bond programme
