Dexter Tan is a corporate finance lawyer based in Singapore. He focuses his practice on international corporate transactions, including M&A, joint ventures and financial services regulatory work.

Dexter has experience in a wide range of multi-jurisdictional corporate and commercial matters, including restructurings, joint ventures and general corporate advisory work, with a focus on financial institutions, renewable energy and technology and innovation.

Dexter has been involved in a number of significant transactions and complex cross-border deals in the region, including the combination of Singlife with Aviva's Singapore business, thought to be the largest ever insurance deal in Singapore. He has also worked on the listing of both Sime Darby Plantation Berhad and Sime Darby Property Berhad, this project received the "Deal of the Year" at the ALB Law Awards in 2018.
