Biography
Jamie Nowak is a litigation and disputes lawyer based in Munich and head of the German litigation and disputes practice. His practice focuses on contentious disputes and litigation.
Jamie has more than twenty years of experience in domestic and cross-border litigation, mediation and arbitration. Clients from a wide range of industries rely on him as an advisor and their representative in transactional, corporate, commercial, liability, insurance and general business law disputes.
The core of his practice includes party representation and resolution of conflicts among shareholders (limited liability companies, stock corporations, trading companies), in the aftermath of corporate transactions (post M&A), in insurance liability cases (W&I and D&O), complex international product liability matters, and disputes under distribution law. Outside of contentious proceedings, he advises clients on general commercial contract law, in particular with regard to the drafting of standard terms and conditions (GTC) and distribution agreements.
Jamie is recommended for years in leading legal directories and surveys by clients and colleagues of other law firms for his expertise and experience. He is a certified lawyer in the field of corporate and commercial law (Fachanwalt für Handels- und Gesellschaftsrecht).
