Webinar
Global | February 25, 2021European institutional investors seeking to diversify risk over asset classes and jurisdictions will continue to look towards US assets. This significant appetite for US real estate, equities and debt, positions US asset managers favorably to sell their services and products in Europe.
However, the EU has increasingly become a highly regulated market with significant access barriers. US asset managers should consider a number of aspects as part of their fund formation process or when acting as a portfolio management insourcer to European fund administrators.
This webinar will look at some of the key regulatory issues that US asset managers need to consider so that they avoid the significant pitfalls that may, in a worst case scenario, result in prosecution, fines, liability and reputation harm. We will discuss the European framework and key developments concerning its implementation in the Netherlands, Luxembourg and Germany and also the UK regime post Brexit.
