'Those were the days'
A photo essay by Ivan Maslarov | Issue 14 | 2018
Milo and Xena are poodles. They are both remarkably intelligent, and thus remarkably difficult to train.
The white one is the male, and his name is Milo. He is extremely playful and mischievous. He is two and a half years old. The black one is the female, and her name is Xena. She is more serious—always on the alert for intruders—and on walks is obsessed with hunting for mice. (We fear that she eats them but so far have not witnessed a kill.) She is three years old.
Few people know that poodles are entirely hypo-allergenic: no dander. Their ‘fur’ is actually a kind of wool.
