We advise Fortius Hospitals on the development of two private hospitals in Australia

Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright has advised Fortius Hospitals on the development of two private hospitals: Sunshine Coast Specialist Hospital in Queensland and Eastwood Private Hospital in Adelaide.

Fortius Hospitals develops boutique private hospitals on behalf of doctors for doctors and healthcare providers.

The Sunshine Coast Specialist Hospital will be an integrated medical specialist building including radiology, pathology, allied health services, the University of the Sunshine Coast, a prosthesis supplier and medical specialists. It will be a 10-storey private hospital located on the Sunshine Cost - Maroochydore, Queensland.

Eastwood Private Hospital will be a 6-storey private hospital with associated consulting rooms located in Eastwood, South Australia.

The Norton Rose Fulbright team worked closely with the teams at Fortius Hospitals and project managers Hopscotch to overcome the challenges facing all large-scale construction projects in the current procurement and economic environment.

The successful completion of the deal for the funding and construction of the Sunshine Coast Specialist Hospital and Eastwood Private Hospital continues the successful partnership between Fortius Hospitals and Norton Rose Fulbright, having previously worked together to deliver Somerset Private Hospital, locate in Penrith, NSW.
