The work you’ll do
Successful in applying to us? Brilliant.
The programme involves doing many of the things our Graduates do, including attending clients meetings and visits to court. You will also enjoy exposure to our deals, culture and practice areas.
There will also be lots of additional activities for you to take advantage of including:
- key skills training with our learning & development team
- Q&A sessions with heads of practice and our managing partner
- talks about practice areas and deals
- networking and social events.
Wherever you look, you’ll be throwing yourself into new things, all with the support of your supervisor and your colleagues.
The recruitment process
Once you apply for a summer clerkship your application will be reviewed taking in to account a variety of factors. If you are successful in securing an interview, you will also be invited to an information evening to learn more about our firm.
The summer clerkship program is the primary source for our national Graduate Academy, which feeds directly into our international opportunities such as the International Rotational program.
Our Sydney Summer Clerkship program runs for 10 weeks. Our Brisbane, Melbourne and Perth clerkship programs run for four weeks over either Summer or Winter.
