Biography
Amber is a corporate, mergers and acquisitions lawyer based in Johannesburg. Amber also focuses on Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (BEE) structuring, advice, fronting investigations and engagements with the BEE Commission.
Amber is a corporate, mergers and acquisitions lawyer based in Johannesburg. She joined the practice as a candidate attorney in Cape Town in 2011, and was appointed as an associate in our Johannesburg commercial team in January 2013.
Amber has experience in matters which are commercial in nature, but especially involving corporate restructures, broad-based black economic empowerment (BEE) focusing on fronting investigations and engagements with the BEE Commission, establishment of a business presence in South Africa, the establishment and operation of trusts, and regulatory gambling advice and license applications.
She attended the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University and completed her undergraduate Bachelor of Commerce degree, majoring in economics and law, before completing her postgraduate LLB degree (cum laude).
Since completing her studies, Amber has also been admitted as a Notary Public, is a certified Empowerment Technician and has also completed her tax law masters at the University of Witwatersrand. Amber is also an Empowerdex accredited "Certified Empowerment Technician".
