Biography
Denise Gan acts as our assistant general counsel. She advises on legal issues and assists with firm management and internal projects.
Prior to her current role, Denise's practice focussed on corporate and commercial law with an emphasis on banking, public and private finance, and construction and infrastructure projects. Denise also has experience providing advice on diverse corporate, regulatory and commercial issues.
Denise joined our office as a summer student in 2013 and returned the following year as an articling student. During her articles, Denise also completed a secondment with the Royal Bank of Canada. While in law school, Denise served on the editorial board of the Windsor Review of Legal and Social Issues and volunteered at Windsor Law's legal aid clinic. She also participated in the bilingual Laskin Moot in administrative and constitutional law. Prior to joining our office, Denise worked for several years at two of Canada's largest banks.
