Biography

Nasser has over a decade of experience practicing in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Nasser started practising law in 2008 advising on insurance, corporate and disputes matters. In addition, Nasser worked with two of the top construction companies in Saudi Arabia, focusing on contract administration, construction management and disputes. Prior to joining LOMAT, Nasser worked as a legal affairs manager in a large corporate group with interests across the GCC and Egypt, managing and handling day to day activities and complicated legal issues for more than 20 companies, in matters related to construction, real estate, agriculture, industrial equipment and investment matters.

  • A Saudi giga-project - on the strategic procurement and implementation of a new city development in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This has included advising on and drafting contracts relating to project management, construction and facilities management, consultancy services and master plans, real estate rights including sale and purchase agreements and land development leases.
  • Hitachi Elevator Saudi Arabia - on the preparation and negotiation of the joint venture agreement, the establishment of a joint-venture company; acting as a general manager; and serving as a board member.*
  • El-Seif Engineering Contracting Company - on regulatory compliance, corporate and insurance matters, the preparation of contracts, including hotel development agreements, bids, contractors' and subcontractors' matters, claims and disputes.*‎
  • A Saudi steel manufacturer - on corporate governance matters in relation to the structure of a transfer of assets, debt-to-equity swap and various compliance issues.
  • Various clients - on corporate governance matters and procedures, including advising the Board and shareholders assemblies in relation to various compliance matters.
  • Uber - on various regulatory matters, including the sale of new offshore products through its on-line platform in the Saudi Arabia.
  • A Saudi marine transportation services company - on liquidation procedures
  • A global corporation - on the regulations governing on-line retail of jewellery in Saudi Arabia.
  • A Korean construction company - on claims for payment arising from the suspension of a supplier agreement.
