Timothy Nelmes is a banking and finance lawyer based in Munich.
Timothy focuses on aviation finance and has advised lenders, lessors and lessees on numerous cross-border financial and leasing transactions.
Prior to joining the firm, Timothy worked at several international law firms in Sydney, Australia.

- BNP Paribas and National Australia Bank (as mandated lead arrangers) on a A$2bn master corporate loan note facility programme for Qantas Airways Limited.
- SMBC Aviation Capital, CIT Aerospace, BBAM, Dubai Aerospace, GE Aviation Capital, Avolon Aerospace and AerCap - on a number of aircraft sale and novation transactions.
- Värde Partners (as outgoing senior lender and incoming equity holder) and Deutsche Bank AG (as incoming senior lender) - on financing aspects of the A$1.2bn restructure, recapitalization and refinancing of the Bis Industries group, an Australia-based materials handling and resource logistics provider.
