Sol Kauffman advises on procurement, infrastructure and construction contracting as well as general commercial matters, including corporate governance and board operations for member-funded BC societies.

Sol’s infrastructure practice spans from drafting template documents and early procurement of project consultants to collaborative meetings, contract execution and beyond. He is experienced in drafting federal, provincial and municipal infrastructure project agreements for public clients and has also advised on private construction projects for both owners and contractors.

With his pre-law experience in project management and agile development, Sol regularly works with engineers and consultants to advise on developing construction specifications, and has particular skills in coordinating the development of complex, inter-related project contracts and multi-party procurements.
