Biography
Kiasha is a commercial litigation and dispute resolution lawyer in our Johannesburg office. She obtained her LLB Degree from the University of the Witwatersrand and her Master’s Degree in Human Rights Law from the University of South Africa, specialising in administrative law, human rights litigation and international human rights law.
She commenced articles with the firm in 2015 and was admitted in 2017.

- General corporate and commercial litigation and dispute resolution – this experience includes a wide range of contractual and administrative law disputes in various sectors including financial, energy, infrastructure, mining and public sectors and in relation to all forms of dispute resolution including adjudications, mediations, domestic and international arbitrations and litigation.
- Aviation regulatory and commercial advice and litigation – Kiasha is also part of our aviation team which is focused on South Africa, southern African and international aviation insurance markets, representing local and foreign aviation insurers, reinsurers and international airlines. She has specific expertise in advising both local and international airlines, insurers and financial institutions on regulatory and commercial aviation issues. Kiasha recently advised European lenders on their rights in a lease agreement involving an international airline as well as assisted with the registration of the aircraft in South Africa following the conclusion of the lease agreement.
- General insurance litigation – She has experience in general insurance and related litigation and dispute resolution including home and motor insurance, engineering disputes, disputes in connection with performance guarantees in the construction industry, and white collar crime (with emphasis on fraud and corruption).
