Biography

Camille Côté is an associate in our business law group whose practice focuses on corporate law. She assists and advises private companies from a wide range of sectors, their officers, directors and shareholders, as well as institutional players.

Camille focuses on mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganizations and other strategic business operations. She is also involved in drafting various contractual agreements and arranging financing.

In particular, Camille has acted on behalf of the following clients:

  • St-Méthode Bakery, in connection with the sale of a majority stake in St-Méthode Bakety to CDPQ; Roynat Equity Partners and an American private equity fund, Swander Pace Capital;
  • Norda Stelo, in connection with the strategic acquisition of CWA Engineers Inc,. a Vancouver-based engineering firm specializing in the ports and terminals industries, which enabled Norda Stelo to strengthen its pan-Canadian presence;
  • Garaga Group, in connection with the acquisition of Novatech, a large Quebec supplier of doors and windows in Canada and the United States, and an equity investment of Fonds de solidarité FTQ and Investissement Québec in Novatech, placing Garaga Group’s shareholders at the head of two Quebec businesses that, together, generate over $1 billion in sales.
