Biography

Andrea Lim is a projects lawyer based in Singapore.

Andrea has experience in power, energy and infrastructure project development, procurement, and construction across the Asia Pacific region.  She has advised on a range of projects including power, water and energy projects, social infrastructure projects such as schools, prisons and housing developments, and commercial construction projects. She also has experience in resolving issues and disputes that arise during construction, including mediation, adjudications, arbitration and court proceedings.

Andrea spent four years at a large New Zealand law firm prior to joining the firm.

Advising:

  • Currently advising a regional power utility on the development of its 660MW CCGT power project in Bangladesh including drafting and negotiating EPC contract and LTSA.
  • Advising the senior lending consortium on a US$700m independent water treatment plant in Abu Dhabi.
  • Advising the lenders in relation to the 1,500MW Al Ajbansolar PV IPP in Abu Dhabi, including project due diligence on the PPA.
  • Advised IFC on due diligence for Citicore’s development of a solar photovoltaic power plant of approximately 172MW coupled with a battery energy storage system Philippines.
  • Advising a consortium on the development of an iron ore mine and related infrastructure in West Africa.
  • A joint venture on the $1 billion Central Interceptor Project in Auckland.
  • A pulp and wood manufacturer on the development, procurement, and construction of a $200m wastewater treatment plant.
  • Tier 1 contractors on the construction of a $160m on Auckland Airport’s expansion project, $20 million airport logistics warehouses, and $3 to $10 million earthworks contracts.
