As HR/Recruitment Assistant you will be working on a challenging range of tasks and ad-hoc activities on a daily basis – no two days are the same. Your team includes the Head of HR for the Benelux offices, an HR Advisor, a Recruitment Manager and another HR/Recruitment Assistant.

As well as working day to day with your local team, you will be working on projects and collaborating with colleagues across EMEA (Europe, Middle-East and Asia), ultimately expanding your international network.

The role

Every day is different, and some of the tasks include, but are not limited to:

Recruitment

  • Recruitment administration, including mailbox management, incoming (telephone) applications, and writing job descriptions
  • Screening candidates including CV reviewing
  • Arranging and conducting virtual and face to face interviews
  • First point of contact for students, study association and recruitment agencies
  • Organising and coordinating (campus) recruitment events such as Bedrijvendagen, Business Courses and in-house days
  • Content management of the website and social media channels – including posting job adverts and any other branding and marketing projects
  • Any other ad hod duties which may be required

HR

  • Being the first point of contact for employees
  • HR administration including but not limited to:
    • Preparing and sending job offers to candidates
    • Setting up the onboarding programme for new joiners
    • Contracting flexible and temporary workers
    • Managing absence/sickness and making sure it is tracked in our system
    • Updating salaries, including yearly reviews and other monthly payroll admin, such as employee benefits
  • Writing and sending our internal newsletter
  • Supporting Learning & Development activities
  • Updating and keeping track of policies, including the personnel handbook
  • Any other ad-hoc duties, e.g. taking care of employee gifts

Who can apply?

  • Good command of both Dutch and English (spoken and written)
  • Experience with MS Office
  • Ambition to learn about the HR and Recruitment environment
  • To be service-orientated, with a passion for people
