On July 4, 2023, the PPF published its sustainability strategy, stating that its aim is to "lead by example on sustainability". The strategy outlines four key sustainability goals:

  • Demonstrating excellence in responsible investment.
  • Ensuring effective stakeholder engagement with integrity and respect.
  • Championing collaboration and leading by example.
  • Being accountable for minimising the PPF's environmental impacts.

The PPF has also set out some of the key targets it intends to achieve through this strategy. Its progress towards the targets will be reported on its website. They are:

  • An aim to reach Net Zero in its operational supply chain and travel emissions by 2035 "or sooner".
  • To contribute to the global transition to Net Zero through its investment portfolio and engagement activities.
  • Year-on-year, the PPF will achieve an increase in representation across all under-represented groups.
  • The PPF will ensure that at least 500 days are volunteered across the organisation.
