Biography
James Dunnett is a banking lawyer based in London. He focuses on acquisition finance, corporate debt and restructuring.
James acts for banks, funds, sponsors, financial institutions and corporates on both domestic and cross-border leveraged buy-outs, bid financings, structured loans and restructurings. He has considerable experience in structuring financings in jurisdictions which are challenging for creditors and in emerging markets, with a particular focus on the oil and gas sector. James acts for a number of mezzanine finance institutions and has been involved in successfully supporting this asset class in several restructurings.
James also acts for banks on receivables based financings and real estate finance transactions.
James joined the London practice in 1997 and became a partner in 2005.
