On November 4, 2022, the Regulator published a blog following the tenth anniversary of auto-enrolment. The blog reflects on the impact of auto-enrolment so far and how to ensure its success continues.
Although the progress of auto-enrolment is acknowledged, the Regulator notes there is still a long way to go. In a separate statement issued following the ten year anniversary, the DWP has also committed to looking at how to improve auto-enrolment by abolishing the lower earnings limit for contributions and reducing the eligible age to 18.
