Biography
Dallan Poulin advises both unionized and non-unionized employers on a wide range of labour and employment issues, including labour relations, employment standards, occupational health and safety, termination and wrongful dismissal, human rights, privacy, and other related areas. Dallan has a particular focus on litigation and dispute resolution and acts as employer counsel in a wide range of employment and labour disputes, including wrongful dismissal proceedings, unjust dismissal complaints, grievance arbitrations, human rights complaints, and others.
Dallan also advises clients in preparing labour and employment agreements, such as employment contracts, restrictive covenants, short- and long-term incentive compensation plans, and workplace policies. He also assists in corporate transactions by providing clients with labour and employment advice relating to due diligence, transactional drafting, and various labour and employment matters related to those transactions. In addition, Dallan advises clients with pension and benefits matters, including pension matters relating to plan design, plan amendments, plan mergers, regulatory compliance, and pension issues concerning corporate transactions.
