Introducción
En nuestro ordenamiento jurídico hay una muy variada serie de normas que protegen al salario como sustento de la vida de los prestadores subordinados de servicios personales y de los familiares que dependen de aquel. Sin embargo, los salarios y otras remuneraciones pagadas están sujetas a ciertas retenciones impuestas por el Estado mediante un sistema de contribuciones, tasas e impuestos que deben deducirse de los ingresos de los trabajadores, así como los respectivos tributos y otros aportes con la que deben contribuir los patronos por el aprovechamiento de los mencionados servicios, así como por los ingresos que perciben de sus actividades empresariales.
