Biography
Alain Malek is a corporate lawyer based in Casablanca and Paris. He heads our North Africa practice and is head of our Casablanca office. He focuses on M&A and has handled numerous cross-border transactions involving leading groups in Europe, Africa and the Middle East.
Alain has extensive experience of advising on infrastructure and natural resources projects. He has also advised financial institutions on projects in Africa such as for acquisition and divestment or for mining-related needs and power plants. Alain has worked on M&A transactions, privatizations, concessions and invitations to tender for both private foreign groups and private national groups operating in Africa in a broad range of sectors including telecommunications, tourism and, real property.
